All of Tbilisi's
Orthodox churches were filled with the faithful on Good Friday.
The massive buildings resonated with the shuffling of feet on the
stone floors and the murmured prayers. Amidst this celebration
of suffering and redemption, the thousands of beeswax tapers were
somehow sensuous.
