When I got off of
the dolmuÕ
in the small mountain town of Ovacik, Cemal stepped forward from the
small crowd and began speaking English to me. Travel can be like
that. He was my companion and interpreter for the next 4 days. We
visited friends and family in the surrounding villages, often
returning to town well after dark.
