The large
multiple-peaked black tents, gon-e-mazen, are the centers of
communal activity at zozan. Smaller canvas tents serve
as bedrooms. Bread is cooked within the tent's stacked rock
wall, but out from under the coarsely-woven tent itself, to allow the smoke
from tesek, dried dung, to escape. |
