The Cevan's moved
from the village of Kani Kork into a new home on the outskirts of
Doğubayazit. They sold their herd of 220 sheep. Village
life was getting too difficult for the matriarch, Leyli, and the
oldest son Ahmet was hopeful he and the other men of the family could
make a better living in commerce and the tourist business.
