It was 2 days
after the U.S. military forces entered Baghdad. The bedouin
tent sat alone on a small rise on the road to a 1,200-year old
Umayyad palace in Syria's desert. In spite of their isolation,
the family was fully current as to the events, and the senior wife
was candid in sharing her opinions of the USA's motives and the
whereabouts of Saddam Hossein. |
