The crowd of
pilgrims at the Tomb of Eyüp Sultan, near the head of
Istanbul's Golden Horn, were shoulder-to-shoulder as they worked
their way to the inner sanctum's entryway where they could see the casket.
Slightly to the side of this crush of reverence, sat a father in
motionless in prayer with his son.
