Sheikh Wazir Usoyan walks to the cemetery on the knoll behind the village. There are small mausoleums with sunken roofs, weathered horses sculpted from basatic rock, patterns of lichen-covered rock, and recent concrete slabs enclosed by welded fencing. Sheikh Wazir paused in front of his parents graves which are partially protected by a rock shelter with a tin roof.
